The National Park Service (NPS) Niobrara National Scenic River (NSR) in Valentine, Nebraska, requests assistance creating, editing and producing digital media (photo, audio, video with closed captioning, content for park web site) as well as providing informal interpretation for river visitors from a solo canoe or kayak or by land at partner sites. The work will be both in an indoor office setting, working with computers and digital media equipment, as well as outdoors, where exposure to river, weather, insect, and other hazards is possible. The positions will be supervised by the Chief of Interpretation & Education at Niobrara NSR. The NPS seeks an organizational partner who can provide individual interns with advanced experience in digital media production (photo, audio, video, editing and/or authoring web content) as well as oral communication and customer service skills.
