Wild LCT Population Monitoring: Genetic Evaluation of LCT recovery in the Truckee River, California/Nevada

 

Funds under this award are to be used to provide laboratory support for evaluating the genetic monitoring aims detailed in the Project Summary. The Recipient laboratory has developed 18 nuclear microsatellite loci for Lahontan cutthroat trout. Diagnostic markers have been established for Pilot Peak within this 18 microsatellite dataset and a suite of markers for hybrid analysis with rainbow trout (Ostberg and Rodrigues 2002). This award is made under the authority of: Fish and Wildlife Act of 1956, as amended, 16 U.S.C. 742a-742j.
