Design and installation of fish passage and fish screening projects in priority areas (i.e. streams that support local population of bull trout) in the Upper Clark Fork (e.g. Harvey Creek, Flint Creek, Boulder Creek) Rock Creek, Bitterroot River, and Middle Clark Fork core areas. 2. Spend aquatic habitat restoration funds and complete work (e.g. collect data) in focus areas, maximize cost-sharing opportunities with partners, and attain the highest level of aggregated, ecological benefits to native fish populations. 3 Better articulate aquatic habitat restoration needs and opportunities for future funding and program development. Develop public outreach information (pamphlet or flyer) that includes a historical perspective and emphasizing locally important recovery issues (fish passage). This Single Source Award is being made in accordance with Department of the Interior Policy 505 DM 2.14 B (#4), which allows for award without competition to an applicant. The applicant is uniquely qualified to perform the activity based upon a variety of demonstrable factors such as location, property ownership, voluntary support capacity, cost-sharing ability, if applicable, technical expertise, or other such unique qualifications.
