Walker River Bird Surveys and Research Coordination
The overall objective of this effort is to (a) inventory the breeding bird community of the riparian areas, (b) set up a long-term system-wide monitoring program that will measure the effectiveness of restoration measures over time, and (c) to model bird habitat for effectiveness monitoring of riparian and wetland restoration.
