Strengthening the Capacity of the Republican Blood Center to Scale Up Blood Safety Program in the Kyrgyzstan Republic under the President¿s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

 

The overarching purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to fund activities intended to enhance the capacity of the Republican Blood Center (RBC) to scale up and improve the quality of blood safety programs within all areas of Kyrgyzstan, and to improve access of the general population to safe, quality assured blood components.

The Republican Blood Center (RBC) is the only organization of the Kyrgyzstan Republic (KG) that has the mandate from the Kyrgyzstan government to implement and coordinate the blood safety system. The RBC has managed the Cooperative Agreement funded by CDC (2010-2015) to promote the blood safety in the country.
