Office: CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL Cooperative Agreement This award will be a continuation of funds intended only for grantees previously awarded under FOA CDC-RFA-GH15-1606: â₏œStrengthen the Capacity of the Republic of Maliâ₏™s National Institute for Public Health Research (INRSP) to Implement Laboratory-Based Activities in Support of STI/HIV Prevention and Care Services under the Presidentâ₏™s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)â₏. As a reminder, the overarching purpose of this FOA is to fund activities to prevent or control disease or injury and improve health, or to improve a public health program or service. Recipients may not use funds for research. Certain activities that may require human subjects review due to institutional requirements, but that are generally considered not to constitute research (e.g., formative assessments, surveys, disease surveillance, program monitoring and evaluation, field evaluation of diagnostic tests, etc.) may be funded through this mechanism. 11/30/2015 This program does not have cost sharing or matching requirements.
