Statistical Support for the BLM Landscape Monitoring Framework
The purpose of this agreement, with the Center for Survey Statistics and Methodology at Iowa State University, is for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to obtain statistical support for conducting the Landscape Monitoring Project. The Bureau collects landscape monitoring information in coordination with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) and their Natural Resources Inventory (NRI). Statistical support is needed to design a valid survey, provide quality assurance and control for data and to produce estimates for the indicators from data collected on BLM lands by NRCS.
