South African University-based Technical Assistance Aimed at Improving the quality of HIV/AIDS and related services in the Republic of South Africa under the United States President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)
The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is for university organizations to provide technical assistance (TA) to improve the quality and sustainability of HIV/AIDS and related programs through targeted capacity strengthening of local organizations supporting HIV prevention, care/support, treatment services, strategic information, laboratory, and health systems which should lead to a decreased incidence and prevalence of HIV and TB as well as an improved quality of life for those affected by HIV/AIDS. Applicants are not required to apply to all activities in the FOA. Applicants are required to apply to at least three of the nine activities in sections Part II.A.2.a and Part II.A.2.a.v.of the FOA. Applicants must clearly state which activities are being applied to in their applications.
