SAMO Centennial Corps internships

The public purpose of this project is to promote and stimulate education, job training, to develop responsible citizens, and increase community involvement with nationally significant cultural and natural resources. This project will help further the understanding, appreciation, and conservation of natural and cultural resources by connecting people to their local and national parks using the centennial as a catalyst for celebration. The project awarded under this task agreement will introduce young adults and youth to their natural, cultural & historical resources by working on the NPS Centennial through SAMO. Interns will use their training and skills in 21st Century Interpretation to provide programming and public access to members of the greater Los Angeles communities.
