The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a funding modification to a cooperative agreement with Reclamation District 2035 under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.512 Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Title XXXIV, P.L. 102-575 Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Sec. 3406 (b)(21) Fish, Wildlife and Habitat Restoration. Estimated total amount of the agreement is $56,453,691 with Reclamation providing $2,758,902 in Fiscal Year 2016. The joint intake and diversion is currently under construction and located at approximately River Mile 70.8 on the right bank of the Sacramento River near Woodland, California. The facility will be used jointly by the Recipient and the Agency to divert water from the Sacramento River and meet all current fish screening and floodway protection requirements. The principle objectives of this project are: Design and Build an Intake Pump Station/Fish Screen/Outlet Station. (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No. R15AN20036 for additional information). A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance agreement based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14 (B)(2) & (4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
