Research in Support of Conservation Planning II: Specialized Conservation Prioritization Modeling and Spatial Analysis Assistance

Conservation strategies are based on spatially explicit assessments and models, their development is strongly reliant on management and processing of geospatial data. We therefore anticipate a large number of projects requiring spatial analyses; in some cases requiring complex modeling applications, developing code, and automating processes. Although some Team members possess basic GIS skills and two have advanced capabilities, we anticipate the workload and complexity to outpace Team personnel resources.
