Research Associates for Five Springs Project at Ash Meadows
This project, when complete, will replace a non-functional culvert and restore the natural hydrology and flow of the Five Springs System and a portion of the Upper Carson Slough at Ash Meadows. The cooperator will also guide ongoing habitat restoration performed concurrently by a contractor. Funding for this project is through the National Fish Passage Program, the funding priority of this program includes replacing a fish barrier; and the National Fish Habitat Program, the funding priority of this program is improving and restoring listed fish habitat.
