Public Land Pollinator Education and Outreach
Through this project, the BLM hopes to partner with an organization that creates high quality/award winning, science based informational products including posters, brochures and or displays featuring pollinators of public lands and actions that can be taken to support their populations on public lands. The BLM would like to have these educational materials available to the public in BLM offices or at meetings where the public attends, as well as available on the web, to increase awareness of the role BLM public lands play in supporting healthy populations of pollinating animals including bees, birds, bats, and insects including butterflies, moths, beetles and other bugs. We also wish to create more awareness internally of the role pollinating animals play in maintaining and improving land health.
