PPHF 2015: Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant - financed solely by 2015 Prevention and Public Health Funds

 

As part of the overall effort to reduce the burden of chronic disease and chronic disease risk factor the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant gives grantees the flexibility to prioritize the use of funds to fill funding gaps in programs that deal with leading causes of death and disability and the ability to respond rapidly to emerging health issues, including outbreaks of foodborne infections and waterborne diseases
