PPHF 2013 Immunization Operational Guidelines for Immunization Programs and Immunization Information Systems (IIS) in IIS-AFIX Integration financed solely by 2013 Prevention and Public Health Funds

 

Purpose The purpose of the program is to develop consensus-based operational guidance to Immunization Programs and Immunization Information Systems (IIS) that will support the movement towards the use of IIS as the primary source for provider coverage level assessment by the end of 2017. This program addresses the “Healthy People 2020” focus area(s) of Immunization and Infectious Diseases, specifically Objective IID-17: “Increase the percentage of providers who have had vaccination coverage levels among children in their practice population measured within the past year.”
