Pediatric Research Using Integrated Sensor Monitoring Systems (PRISMS) Network (U54)

 

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is toencourage U54 Cooperative Agreement applications for the development of enabling informatics platforms that will be designed for data acquisition from environmental, physiological, and behavior sensors that will be developed in RFA-EB-15-002 and for data integration, processing, visualization, and secure uploading of individual platform results to a data and software coordination and integration Center that will be developed in RFA-EB-15-004. The three RFAs together (RFA-EB-15-002, RFA-EB-15-003, RFA-EB-15-004) will make up the Pediatric Research using Integrated Sensor Monitoring Systems (PRISMS) Program.The central mission of the PRISMS Program is to develop sensor-based integrated health monitoring systems to serve as research tools to measure pediatric environmental, physiological, and behavioral factors in epidemiological studies of asthma, and eventually other chronic diseases, in the pediatric population. The three arms to the PRISMS Program will work very closely together to ensure functionality of the overall systems.
