The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District (USACE) intends to enter into a sole source cooperative agreement with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for the operation & maintenance and monitoring & evaluation of Priest Rapids and Ringold Springs Fish Hatcheries to meet mitigation requirements for projects of USACE, Portland District. This cooperative agreement is a continuation of Cooperative Agreement W9127N-09-2-0011 with WDFW. This cooperative agreement is for the production and release of juvenile fish to mitigate for lost adult returns during and after construction of projects constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The cooperative agreement is entered into pursuant to the Flood Control Act of 1950, Pub. L. 516, 81st Congress; H. Doc. 531, 81st Cong., 2d Sess. (1949). Work under this task order will be performed at Priest Rapids Hatchery in Mattawa, Washington and Ringold Springs Hatchery in Mesa, Washington.
