Purpose of Program: The purpose of the TIF program is to support the development and implementation of sustainable performance-based compensation systems (PBCSs) for teachers, principals, and other personnel in high-need schools in order to increase educator effectiveness and student achievement in those schools. Applications for grants under the Teacher Incentive Fund, CFDA number 84.374A, the General TIF Competition and 84.374B, the TIF Competition with a Focus on STEM, must be submitted electronically using the Governmentwide Grants.gov Apply site at www.Grants.gov. Through this site, you will be able to download a copy of the application package, complete it offline, and then upload and submit your application. You may not email an electronic copy of a grant application to us. You may access the electronic grant application for the Teacher Incentive Fund competitions at www.Grants.gov.
