Notice of Intent to Award
THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE, AS This is a Notice of Intent to Award a cooperative agreement, in which the Recipient is contributing $100,000 towards project completion and the US Fish and Wildlife Service is contributing $3,000. The seasonal repair and maintenance of over 60 miles of gravel roads, in addition to maintaining fire breaks, culverts, dikes and water control structures requires significant equipment and training. Washington County Community College has successfully conducted such work for the refuge every year since 2004. The college has a heavy equipment program situated adjacent to the refuge and has the full capability (knowledge and equipment) to complete this project. This award is being made in accordance with 505 DM 2.14 B(4), cost sharing capability.
