Northern Arizona University CESU Biocrust Restoration Project.
Continue research to realize the potential of biocrusts as a restoration tool by developing ex-situ cultivation techniques. Biocrust restoration technology could then be applied to two braod situations: disturbed drylands which have lost their biocrust cover, and areas impacted by forest fire
