Native Wind River sauger limiting factor analysis and population conservation

 

A) Administer and contract rapid and population level genetic analysis during Wind River sauger spawning operations to maintain the genetic integrity of this stock of fish. B) Administer and contract otolith micro-chemistry analysis to monitor the potential impact of sauger stocking in the Wind River Basin. C) Administer and contract stable isotope analysis to determine natal origin of sauger captured on the spawning grounds. D) Provide progress and financial reports as required under the agreement.

Office: U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE Cooperative Agreement 1 This is a single source award to fund a cooperative agreement with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. The entity must have sufficient infrastructure and ability to administer the scopes of work, as well as the legal authority to operate as a co-manager of the Wind River sauger population. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6 intends to award a single source financial assistance agreement as authorized by 505 DM 2 to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. This notice is not a request for proposals and the Government does not intend to accept proposals. Award will be made approximately 7 days after this notice.
