HISTORIC RESOURCE STUDY FOR WILLIAM FLOYD ESTATE
The Historic Resource Study, as defined in NPS Cultural Resource Management Guidelines (NPS-28), provides a historical overview of a park or region and identifies a park���s cultural resources within historic contexts. This project will prepare a Historic Resource Study for the William Floyd Estate. The study will provide essential information which will inform decisions about the preservation, management, and interpretation of historic and cultural resources of this unit of the park. In addition, the study will provide necessary context for updating the property���s National Register documentation to reflect all significant periods of use and occupation, as well as associations with significant people and events.
