Hands on the Land Network Support: Youth Education and Engagement

 

The purpose of the proposed program is to provide support to the BLM for the existing Hands on the Land (HOL) Network of outdoor classrooms. HOL is a network that includes approximately 115 sites from coast to coast. All sites offer programs in conservation education that supporting local standards of learning and are associated with one of six Federal agencies: the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
