Geologic Mapping in Vicksburg National Military Park and Natchez Trace Parkway and National Scenic Trail

 

This is a Notice of Intent (NOI) to award a non-competitive Task Agreement under the Gulf Coast, Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Master Cooperative Agreement (P12AC51051) in accordance with Department of Interior, 505 Departmental Manual 2.12C. The purpose of this project is to provide geologic mapping, it will be conducted at Vicksburg National Military Park (VICK) and Natchez Trace Parkway (NATR) as a portion of the National Park Service Geologic Resources Inventory. The project will provide support for a MasterÂ’s Thesis that will include a new map of VICK and to support work in compiling or conducting new mapping in the first phase of a new map on the Natchez Trace.
