The purpose of the New Mexico (NM) SHPO SiteWatch Program (Challenge Cost Share) agreement is for the NM BLM to continue the effective goals of our land managing agency in continued monitoring, recording and protection and preservation of significant archaeological and historic cultural resources on BLM managed lands. The training for volunteer site monitors and production of products which promote the public awareness of the importance of these resources in NM
