NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD: This funding announcement is not a request for applications or proposals. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Serviceâ₏™s intent to award a non-competitive Cooperative Agreement in accordance with Department of Interior, 505 Departmental Manual 2.12C. The objective of this agreement is to partner with Western Kentucky University which will provide full museum management to MACA. The Museum Curator will oversee the full daily operation of the museum management program. The project provides the means for accessioning and cataloging objects and documents that fit the MACA Scope of Collections. Additionally, the project provides for collections preservation and storage, housekeeping, exhibit maintenance, environmental monitoring, recordkeeping, reporting of work activity, providing access by visitors, staff, and researchers to the collection. .
