The National Wetlands Research Center (NWRC) of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for collaborative research investigating responses of Piping Plover and Benthic Macroinvertebrate Community Response and Recovery Rates following Gulf Shoreline and Barrier Island Restoration on Whiskey Island, Isles Dernieres and Potential Impacts to the Wintering Habitat of the Threatened Piping Plover (Charadrius melodus) and Other Wintering and Migratory Shorebirds of Conservation Concern, Louisiana .
