Conservation of Priority Wetland and Upland Habitat in the RWBJV
Tasks to be performed: Support the RWBJV partnership with implementation of projects that will be directly linked to migratory bird habitat conservation as described in the RWBJV Implementation Plan and associated bird plans. To successfully implement migratory bird habitat conservation the RWBJV partnership is implementing the Strategic Habitat Conservation (SHC) business model. This business model is built on four interrelated critical elements. Critical elements of the SHC framework include: Biological Planning, Conservation Design, Research/Monitoring/Evaluation, and Implementation/Project Delivery. When implemented these elements provide a feedback mechanism that refines conservation delivery through time.
