BLM OR-WA Wildland Urban Interface - Hazardous Fuels Reduction, Education, and Outreach

 

The purpose of this program is to facilitate collaboration with designated communities at risk from catastrophic wildfires and to assist in the development of Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPP) throughout Oregon. This program will include working with individual land owners regarding the benefits of fire prevention mitigation, planning hazardous fuels reduction treatments and monitoring and providing input on the effectiveness and quality of work being performed on or adjacent to federal lands.
