BLM-AK Monitoring Body Condition and Health in the Teshekpuk Caribou Herd, Alaska
This project will investigate the body condition of adult TCH caribou using both morphometric indices and tissue analysis. The information gained will help BLM understand the potential impacts of future oil and gas leasing, exploration and development on caribou in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska and thus to mitigate those impacts.
