2014 Alaska National Wildlife Refuge System Science & Culture Camps
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) in Alaska-Region 7 is seeking proposals to collaboratively plan and host 2014 science and culture camps serving children from communities within or near Alaska¿s 16 National Wildlife Refuges. Camps should meaningfully integrate western scientific principles and traditional knowledge and experience of the area to cultivate conservation and stewardship principles among local children. Funding will be provided for planning and curriculum development, camp instruction, transportation, and supplies.
